Talkaad
Situated on the left bank of the sacred river Cauvery, Talkaad is a must-see destination that has a legend to tell. That of a legendary curse that has surprisingly come true. The most outstanding feature of Talkaad is the ‘desert’. 800 acres of desert situated on the banks of a river and surrounded by fertile land. Sounds strange doesn’t it? Talkaad also has some marvelous structures and ancient temples. The icing on the cake – the Archeological department has discovered sites dating back to the Harappan age, one of the earliest know forms of civilization. Close by, you have the ancient Somnathpur temples and the Shivanasamudra falls. Talkaad would surely be an outing you would treasure!

Average cost for a day outing for a couple and two children would cost anywhere from Rs 2500 – Rs 5,000 which includes A/C Cab Fare with an option of visiting Shivanasamudra Falls & Srirangapatna too.

Hampi
One of the most enchanting attractions that India has to offer, Hampi has been declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO and is a center for international tourism. Hampi was the erstwhile capital of the Vijaynagar kingdom that reached its peak under the able leadership of Krishnadevaraya. Situated on the banks of the Thungabadhra river, the ruins of Hampi still stand tall 650 years hence. Hampi reflects the architectural advancement and skills of the master craftsmen of the Vijayanagar empire. There is a lot more to be said and spoken about Hampi, but a webpage is hugely inadequate; we advise you to personally check out this world heritage site!

Average cost for 2N/3D’s package for a couple would cost anywhere from Rs 8000 – Rs 12,000 which includes A/C Cab Fare, DBL A/C room with breakfast.

Belur-Halebid
Belur and Halebid are twin towns and along with Hampi and Hassan, showcase Hoysala architecture at its best. The twin cities are known for their temples and other structures that reflect exquisite ancient architecture. Belur-Halebid was the capital of the Hoysalas who build innumerable awe-inspiring monuments. There is even a temple that was built to commemorate victory over the Cholas and this temple took 103 years to reach completion! The architectural beauty of the place makes you wonder about the mastery of the artisans over their skill. Brilliant carvings depict various sequences and tales from the great epics. We’d safely state that a lifetime isn’t enough to explore Belur-Halebid but a short visit nevertheless is a must!

Average cost for 1N/2D package for a couple would cost anywhere from Rs 6000 – Rs 10,000 which includes A/C Cab Fare, DBL A/C room with breakfast at Hasan Town.
